We can see Hawaii dead ahead. We should enter the harbor in about an hour. The passage from San Diego was uneventful. The seas were cooperative.
Mostly cloudy skies helped keep us from accidentally incinerating
ourselves while rising temperatures made being on deck increasingly
attractive. We are rested and ready to make the most of our time in
Hawaii. We are looking forward to cellphone calls with our daughters
and their families.
We have a 6.5 hour bike tour today, a 10.5 hour tour tomorrow (March 10) on Maui and a day full of activities on Oahu (March 11) and Kauai (March 12) so I anticipate getting behind on blog entries during the next few days, catching up on them after we leave Hawaii on route to Kiribati.
