The gale force winds we had much of the time north of the Equator have steadily diminished the further south of the Equator we travel. At 7:30 AM true wind speed was 5 knots.
Big cumulus clouds floated by, some containing a brief shower. The ship passed through a shower yesterday afternoon while I was in a deck chair. It was refreshing. I was completely dry within ten minutes.
I took this picture from the balcony of our cabin. The mini-rainbow in the upper left-hand corner is really a rainbow, not the glint of sun on my lens.
It is getting shallower: depth to ocean bottom yesterday was over over four miles and this morning is barely three miles.
Awesome photo!
